Site Survey Information

For a preliminary quotation, the most important information is:

1. Number of tanks
2. Tank capacities
3. Fuel products
4. Tank dimensions
5. Tank manhole
6. Dispenser/ pump configuration
7. Photographs/ site layout.

A physical site survey is recommended before finalizing the ATG design, probe lengths, cabling, hazardous-area equipment, installation method, and bill of quantities.

Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) is a system that continuously monitors underground fuel tanks, measuring fuel level, volume, temperature, water level, and inventory changes in real time.
Yes. ATG can identify unexpected changes in tank inventory and provide information that can help operators investigate theft, leakage, measurement errors, or other stock discrepancies. ATG itself does not necessarily determine the cause of a loss.
Normally, no. ATG probes are generally installed through suitable tank openings or fittings. A site survey is required to confirm compatibility.
A straightforward installation can often be completed within one working day per station, but the actual duration depends on the number of tanks, existing infrastructure, wiring requirements, integration work, and site conditions.
